origins ofManaaki Counselling Services

Manaaki counselling services was founded in 2012 after the closure of Lifeline Whangarei. The kaupapa of manaaki counselling service is to carry on the role of face to face counseling,suicide prevention and personal development for low cost to no cost within Te Tai Tokerau.

 

The service is supported by professional and qualified practitioners who volunteer their time outside of their own practice.

 

Manaaki Counseling Services supports those seeking counseling and personal development through workshops. Catering for individuals and whanau throughout Te Tai Tokerau.

We value confidentiality and reliability therefore want our service to be available for those that need to have a korero and work through their personal growth in a mana enhancing environment.

 

We believe no issue is too big or too small, with our practitioners help we are able to awhi and manaaki individuals and whanau through korero and process without judgment.

 Gifting our most vulnerable community with the appropriate skills and tools to be able to korero and process issues and difficult situations.

We offer counselling, professional and personal development, suicide prevention and intervention workshops and use of the space in therapeutic mahi.
